Jeanette Muller was born on a dairy farm and raised around wild and domestic animals, often taking care of the animals on her family’s farm. Her love of animals spurred her on to get a bachelor’s degree in Fisheries and Wildlife Biology from Iowa State University. Additionally, for 15 years, she performed invasive species control, wildlife, fisheries and plant inventories and restoration projects in many locations around the United States.
She was also an AmeriCorps Naturalist, Mill Guide and amateur historian at Motor Hill Historic Park, Elkader, IA, and since 2008, Muller has been a seasonal Biological Science Technician at Effigy Mounds National Monument in Northeast Iowa.
Her constant interaction with nature allows her to take many photos of beautiful wildlife.
