March 1: Bonnie Geisert, author of "Prairie Winter," who weaves her childhood experiences in South Dakota into intriguing stories for young readers. Also, meet writers, who were part of the recently released "Love from Galena." Peggy Stortz, Marion Lubinski, Gail DeMoss, Diann Marsh and Geisert will share how fifteen local authors used their short stories, poetry, essays and even a one-act play to depict falling in love in Galena.

March 15: P.J. Harte-Naus, author of "Belden Boy" and "My Sometimes Pal." Harte-Naus uses teaching experience to weave an anti-bullying theme into her "Belden Boy" novel. The story is based on oral history of former Belden School students, who still live near The Galena Territory-the location of the actual 19th Century one-room school.

March 29: Karen Stockwell, author of "Dreams of Darkness and Light." Influenced by her art degree and artist accomplishments, Stockwell creates a protagonist, whose life is changed by the natural beauty and art of Tenotenaca, Mexico..
